SCHOLARSHIPS

Our Matriarch, Dr. Inez S. Bull, became a music teacher later in life, passing her passion for music to thousands of young people both in schools where she taught and through private lessons she gave. These lessons were often free or at reduced rates for young people of promise, but of limited means. Annually the Foundation approves scholarships and grant awards to Galeton area music departments and nonprofit groups.

In October of 2013, we presented a collection of new musical instruments to the Music Department at The Galeton School in Galeton.

In December of 2012, the Foundation made a grant to the St. Marys Combined High School Bands, for the purchase of instruments and associated items to support the music program there which is coordinated by Mr. Ray Knight.
